If there is air leakage at the tail of the kiln, a large amount of cold air is easily inhaled, and the gas in the kiln is not easy to be discharged, resulting in the incomplete combustion of the fuel, which leads to the destruction of the thermal system. This will not only increase the consumption of fuel, but also reduce the burning output. Under the influence of cold air, the surface of the raw material powder hardens, which will cause the occurrence of crusting and blockage. The entry of a large amount of cold air will also increase the emission of exhaust gas, which is not conducive to energy conservation and emission reduction.
How to solve the air leakage at the head and tail of the rotary kiln?
1. Kiln head sealing
The kiln head adopts the composite flexible sealing technology of the kiln head forward and reverse air chambers, the kiln head cover is stationary, and the rotary kiln is moving. During the heating process, the kiln body will stretch after being heated. In normal production, it will move up and down under the action of the hydraulic stopper wheel. At the same time, the overhanging section will also bend and deform and the end face will be deformed (such as the bell mouth). In severe cases, the kiln head cover will even be damaged. The mutual contact and wear of the moving parts and the stationary parts in the sealing device, and the dust, high temperature and difficult lubrication, require the material of the sealing parts to be wear-resistant and heat-resistant. For the situation where the kiln head hood is often under positive pressure, this kind of seal can solve the problems of spraying and smoking.
2. Kiln tail seal
The kiln tail seal adopts the end face contact type with heavy hammer pressure, and the sealing part adopts two circles of friction rings. The structure is simple and efficient, and the maintenance is very small. The end face contact adopts a relatively large contact area, and at the same time, it has a strong adaptive and compensation ability for the diameter jump and end jump of the kiln tail cylinder.
