For some kilns with a diameter of more than 4m and a long operation time, it will be found that the wear of the tooth tip width of the large girth gear and small gear of the rotary kiln equipment exceeds 1/3, the tooth tip gap has reached 20mm, and the rotary kiln body vibrates seriously. At this time, when replacing the large girth gear, as long as the tooth surface of the non-working surface and the elastic balance plate are intact, by turning over the large girth gear and replacing the small gear, not only can the rotary kiln run normally for a long time, but also save a lot of money.
The specific steps and requirements for replacing the large ring gear of rotary kiln equipment are as follows:
Determine whether the large girth gear and spring plate of the rotary kiln are available. Fix a dial indicator at the bottom of the large girth gear of the rotary kiln, let the kiln rotate slowly, and select 8 points on the ring gear to measure the radial and end runout of the large ring gear to determine whether the large girth gear is deformed. Measure the distance between two adjacent holes on the large girth gear side by side, which indirectly reflects the wear amount of the bolt holes to determine whether the spring plate is usable. Disassemble the large girth gear of the rotary kiln. When a semicircle of the large girth gear of the rotary kiln turns directly upward, remove the pinion shaft to separate the large girth gear from the original transmission. After marking, remove the bolts. Then use a winch to rotate the kiln body and remove the other half of the large girth gear. It would be best if the rotary kiln is turned over immediately after removing the first semicircle. However, since it is difficult to take out the whole snail, the large girth gear has to be placed on the ground. At the same time, the rotary kiln must prevent the spring plate from being squeezed and deformed during the disassembly and assembly of the large girth gear.
Install the large girth gear of the rotary kiln. After cleaning the oil stains and polishing the burrs and convex joints on the teeth, use a crane to install the large girth gear on the upper half of the cylinder. Use bolts to connect with elastic plates, and weld square steel, adjusting bolts and other alignment tools. Install the other half after turning the kiln and tighten the corresponding bolts. A total of six square steel pieces are welded to the vertical ribs of the large ring gear.
The large girth gear of the rotary kiln equipment is aligned. Adjust the alignment tool to the stressed state. Keep the large girth gear of the rotary kiln in a basically correct position, rotate the kiln body, and use a dial indicator to measure the radial and end runout of the ring gear. At this time, the tooth root is generally used as the alignment benchmark, and the ring gear and spring plate lugs are spot welded together to align the holes. After releasing the alignment tool. Carry out the second side measurement confirmation. If there are any major changes, disengage the solder joints and realign them again.
Rotary kiln equipment front hole. Install the machine tool on site with the center line of the machine tool parallel to the center line of the kiln, and use a slope gauge and frame level for alignment. The bottom should be firmly connected with I-beam steel, and the head should be close to the large ring gear, leaving room for the sharp rod to operate. Before the ear holes, the ear holes with larger wear should be repaired or welded after inserting. The aperture of the new awning should be determined based on misalignment and wear. To ensure aperture accuracy, the rod cannot vibrate. The mantis bed rotation speed should be 40-60r/min.
Rotary kiln equipment equipped with bolts. Every time a hole is drilled, a bolt is installed. The polished rod of the bolt is an interference fit, and the amount of interference is between 0.01-0.03mm. After installing one bolt, another hole is added. After the assembly is completed, measure the radial and end runout for the third time and record and archive it.
Replace the pinion gear of the rotary kiln and correct the transmission coefficient. At this time, the tooth top clearance is 10-12. The contact spot on the gear surface is not less than 40% along the tooth height and not less than 50% along the tooth length. The coaxiality of the motor and reducer is 0.1mm.
