There is a risk that the steel slag will melt through the slag pot, so the manufacturer attaches great importance to the quality of the slag pot.
Precautions when using the slag tank:
1. Before using a new slag pot, it is necessary to confirm its safety status, confirm that there are no safety hazards in the trunnions, tank body, etc. before use, and fill out the "New Slag Pot Pre-Use Confirmation Form";
2. There should be no accumulated water or moisture in the Slag Pot, and it must be dried before use;
3. When it is found that the slag pot has water accumulation, no slag or trunnion defects, it should be repaired immediately;
4. When pouring slag, you should slow down and do not pour it into the slag pot too hard or too fast.
5. When cracks, deformation, trunnion root cracks and steel sticking occur in the slag pot, it means that the slag pot should be scrapped. At this time, fill in the "Slag Pot Scrap Application Form" to apply for scrap according to the actual situation of the slag pot; after the application is approved, the scrap steel will be cut and recycled into the furnace as scrap;
6. After the slag pot is scrapped, the operation area should promptly apply for a new slag pot to supplement it to ensure normal operations.
7. Another thing to note is that when buying a slag pot, don’t just pursue the price. Price is only an indicator in the process of purchasing a product or service. Quality, service, reputation, etc. should all be fully considered before purchasing.
