Slag pots are important equipment in the steel-making industry and are used to contain high-temperature slag generated during the steel smelting process. It is a bowl-shaped vessel with lifting trunnions on the sides. The slag tank is mainly used to transport converter steel slag, refining furnace steel slag, and continuous casting ladle pouring allowance.
Tenfaye slag pots are manufactured using standard wooden models. The surface of the core is brushed with a special coating to prevent cracking and ensure a flat and smooth surface of the casting. Before production, the components of the main and auxiliary materials of slag pots are strictly tested. During smelting, samples are taken three times before entering the furnace, in the cast state, and after coming out of the furnace, and a spectrometer is used for testing to strictly control the component content and product quality.
